About Us
Owners Angela and William Campbell thrive on giving the best boat rental experience on Lake James. The Dim Sum is an 85-foot Summerset houseboat, the most giant boat on Lake James. The boat is a venue on the water that can accommodate 25 people.
Lake James is a large reservoir in the mountains of western North Carolina between Burke and McDowell counties, with 150 miles of shoreline. The lake is 6,812 acres and 115 feet deep, great for swimming, sunbathing, cruising, and fishing. Our boat is excellent for Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, bridal showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and family get-togethers. We love to party and have a good time, so that we will have a party for any reason.
There is a local restaurant (Bear Creek Marina) accessible on the lake; they have great food and entertainment during peak season. We can accommodate live music, a DJ, and catering food/drinks. (No red wine)
